Lawmakers Welcome Faleke With Rousing Applause as He Returns to House of Reps

Abiodun Faleke, the running mate of late Prince Audu Abubakar in the controversial gubernatorial elections, returned to the House of Representatives amid cheers from supporting lawmakers.

Running mate to late Prince Abubakar Audu in the Kogi State governorship election, James Abiodun Faleke, returned to the chambers of House of Representatives on Tuesday, December 8, to a warm reception from his colleagues.

 

On being sighted entering the chamber, Faleke was greeted with a round of applause from his colleagues.

 

He made straight to the Speaker,  Yakubu Dogara, with whom he held a brief conversation.

 

After the meeting, Faleke made his way to his seat as he acknowledged greetings and cheers from his colleagues and others on the floor.
