Some time ago, rumours made the rounds that President Muhammadu Buhari's daughter is engaged to the Gov of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai but she has come out to clear the air on the topic.
The president’s daughter, Zahra Buhari, has once again reacted to
recent reports by a Kaduna state based newspaper, that Governor Nasir
el-Rufai is set to wed her.
It will be recalled that news had gone round in October 2015, that
the beautiful daughter of President Buhari would be tying the knot with
Kaduna state governor.
Shortly after that, Zahra granted an interview to The Amba Imprint,
where she clarified various rumours about her kicking out a woman from a
boutique in Abuja and many more. When she was asked about marriage, she
answered by saying: “Maybe I have a potential”.
However the marriage rumour resurfaced online last week and Zahra took to her Twitter page, notifying her followers by saying: “Just to make this topic clear. I’m NOT married yet, nor am I engaged to anyone. I hope that’s clear enough.”
